About WebUp

Big-company engineering, sized for small businesses.

Hi, I'm Alberto Martinez de Aragon, founder and lead engineer at WebUp.

I've been building for the web since 2015, starting with custom websites for small businesses in London. Since then I've worked as a senior software engineer on products used by millions of people, including Sky Broadband's web applications and enterprise tools at KPMG. Today I lead front-end development on an accommodation management platform at Situ.

Along the way I noticed the same thing again and again: small businesses get either a cheap template that never brings in customers, or an agency quote they can't afford. WebUp exists to sit in the middle, with modern, reliable websites and apps, built properly and looked after for the long run.

WebUp is based in Exeter, Devon, and works with businesses across the UK. I'm a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English, so I'm happy to work with you in either language.
